Medion’s touchscreen PC

In 2008 I collaborated with popular consumer brand Medion from Germany to design a user experience for their new touchscreen computers. It involved creating a theme based user interface that helped users browse and manage photos, play music and create notes. Among other things, I researched various touch gestures— consumer touchscreens having just started to become popular at the time. This was my first ever user experience project and first time interacting with a development team.

Canon’s HD TV Media Centre

I was chosen by my company to design a user experience for Canon’s HD TV Media Centre. I worked alongside a team of developers to create an interface that allowed users to browse through content such as photos, music and movies on the television with the help of a remote control.

Comviva’s mobile UI

It was interesting to work on this project as I had to create sleek user interfaces for low-end mobile phones, a year or so before smart phones hit the Indian market. Trying to optimally display every element on the tiny screens was a challenge. I designed interfaces for an app store called ‘App Manager’, ‘Mobile TV’ to let people stream different television channels and ‘Lite Games’ to let users browse games.
